First off, everyone in our household loves Disney. (and with good reason, right?!) Secondly, anytime I can combine Oreo cookies with an adorable outcome, I can’t wait to create.

Not only are these Mickey and Minnie Valentine’s Cookies super simple, but they also take no time at all to make. These are some of those cookie recipes that everyone loves and you look like the hero because it appears that you spent HOURS creating them. (your little secret!)

We’ve made these delicious Valentine’s cookies so many times, and it seriously never gets old. In fact, as I sit here thinking about them, I’m rearing to make them again! Luckily for me, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

These are great to make and take to school parties or as a fun treat to gift your neighbors. You can even make them for a Disney-themed birthday party as well!

If you ask me, even those this recipe may look like Valentine’s Day, there’s no wrong time to make them! If you want to whip up a batch or two, do so! Treat your family and your taste buds!

Ingredients to Make Mickey Inspired Oreo Cookies

OREO cookies
Mini OREO cookies
Pink Chocolate Candy Melts
Red Chocolate Candy Melts
White Cookie Icing
Large red heart-shaped sprinkles or candies

Mickey and Minnie Inspired Oreo Cookie Recipe

Start by melting the chocolate candy. Place the red candy melts and pink candy melts in microwave-safe bowls and heats each of them on defrost mode for 1 minute at a time, stopping to stir until the candy is smooth and completely melted.

Next, dip the bottom half of each regular-sized OREO cookie into either the pink or red melted candy depending on if you want to create a Minnie or Mickey OREO.

Then, place the dipped OREOS on a cookie sheet that is lined with wax paper, and allow the chocolate candy to harden.

While the candy is hardening, open the mini OREO cookies and remove the icing from the middle. Then place one mini OREO cookie half on each side of the larger dipped OREOS, pressing the mini OREOS into the top of the regular-sized OREOS gently so you do not break them creating Mickey and Minnie’s ears.

After the pink and red candy has hardened, use the white cookie icing to draw a straight line across the center of each cookie overlapping the place where the cookie was dipped into the candy.

On the pink Minnie Mouse cookies, place a dab of white icing on the back of a large heart-shaped sprinkle or candy, and press it to the top of the OREO, slightly off to the side. This will take the place of Minnie’s bow.

On the red Mickey Mouse OREOS, place a tiny dab of icing on the back of two small pink heart-shaped sprinkles, and apply them to the front of the regular-sized OREOS in the red candy dipped portion. These will be the buttons on Mickey’s pants.

Lastly, allow the cookie icing to harden completely, store the cookies in an airtight container, or serve immediately.

  4. Open the mini Oreo cookies, and remove the icing from the middle. Place one mini Oreo cookie half on each side of the larger candy dipped Oreos. Press the mini Oreos into the top of the regular sized Oreos gently so you do not break them. These will be Minnie and Mickey’s ears.
