International League (Triple A)

David Dahl, RF – Phillies

Dahl last played a full season in the majors in 2021 with the Texas Rangers. After the season he was released and spent the last few years looking for a home that would give him an opportunity to get back to the Show. He signed a minor league contract with the Philadelphia Phillies on February 19, 2024 and so far with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, he is batting .340, with seven doubles, two Triples, 12 home runs and 26 RBIs. Over the last seven days, dating back to May 25th, Dahl has a six-game hitting streak, and is batting .413 (12 for 29), with eight runs scored, five home runs, and 11 RBIs. In that span he also has five straight multi-hit games.

Pacific League (Triple A)

Ryan Ward, LF – Dodgers

Ward is a 2019, 8th Round draft pick for the Los Angeles Dodgers and over the past five seasons, he has amassed 89 doubles, 15 triples, 96 home runs, and 324 RBIs through 1764 at bats. Playing in his second season in Triple A in 2024, Ward, with his 16 home runs, is already on track to surpass his 21 home runs, he hit back in 2023 and possibly his high of 28 in 2022. Ward currently has a 10-game hitting streak, with includes seven multi-hit games. On June 1st, he went 4 for 4, with two home runs. Over his last seven days, he is batting .500 (16 for 32), with 10 runs scored, five doubles, a triple, four home runs, and 12 RBIs.

Eastern League (Double A)

Kyle Teel, C – Red Sox

Teel is a 2023, 1st Round draft pick for the Boston Red Sox and after a 2023 campaign that saw him rise through the ranks from Rookie ball to Double A, he has found his groove with the Double A Portland Sea Dogs. Teel finished the month of April having hit safely in six of 10 games, but he then turned it up a notch in May. The 14th overall pick in the draft, hit safely in 19 of the 22 games he appeared in the month of May. In that span he had two hitting streaks, first a seven game hitting streak, and then an eight game hitting streak. Over his last seven days, he is batting .536 (15 for 28), with seven runs scored, a double, three home runs, and 11 RBIs. On June 1st he hit a grand slam and has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games.

Southern League (Double A)

Tim Elko, 1B – White Sox

Elko was a 10th Round Draft pick of the Chicago White Sox in 2022, and in 2023 he had a monster season with 25 doubles, 28 home runs and 106 RBIs, between Low A, A+ and Double A. In 2024, he is continuing to put up big numbers as he has so far surpassed his Double A output of 2023. Elko has hit safely in 27 of his last 31 games, and over his last seven days, he is batting .379 (11 for 29), with six runs scored, a home runs, and seven RBIs. Over his last eight games, he has five multi-hit games.

Texas League (Double A)

Josh Lester, 1B – Royals

Lester was a 400th pick in the 13th Round of the 2015 MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers. He made his MLB debut with the Tigers on September 5, 2022 and then after electing to be a free agent for the 2022 season, he sign a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles. In 2023, he started the season in Double A and was called up for 11 games and then elected for free agency after the season and was picked up by the Kansas City Royals to a minor league contract. The journeyman has hit safely in 19 of 26 games, and in his last seven he is batting .400 (10 for 25), with five runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, and nine RBIs.

South Atlantic League (Class A+)

Brayden Taylor, 3B – Rays

Taylor was a 1st Round draft pick for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2023, and in his first season in pro ball he showed he had some pop in his bat. This season he has continued to develop into a good hitter and over his last seven days, he is batting .392 (11 for 28), with 11 runs scored, four doubles, four home runs and eight RBIs. He has hit safely in 22 of his last 26 games, and has back to back games with a home run.

Midwest League (Class A+)

Ricardo Olivar, C – Twins

Oliver has been with the Minnesota Twins organization since 2021 and over the last two seasons he has started to hit his stride. In 2023, in Low A ball he hit .285 with 28 doubles, and 10 home runs, and so far in 2024 in High A, he is batting .297, with nine doubles and eight home runs. He went hitless in his last game on June 2nd, but prior to that he had a 12-game hitting streak, which a day prior ended an eight-game hitting streak. Over his last seven days, he batted (.290) 9 for 31, with three runs scored, three home runs and drove in fiver runners. On May 31st, he hit two home runs and it was his third in three games.

Brock Rodden, 2B – Mariners

Rodden was a 5th Round pick of the Seattle Mariners in the 2023 MLB Draft. In his first season in pro ball, he hit .311, with 11 doubles, and two home runs and he has already surpassed those numbers in 2024. Through 49 games, he is batting .310, with 11 doubles, three triples and six home runs in High A. He currently has an 11-game hitting streak, and has hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games. In his last seven days, he is batting .385 (10 for 26), with seven runs scored, a triple, two home runs and three RBIs.

Carolina League (Class A)

Jacob Wetzel, RF – Cubs

Wetzel has been working his way through the Chicago Cubs system since 2021. he has hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games, and currently has a 10 game hitting streak. Over his last seven days, he is batting .444 (12 for 27), with eight runs scored, four doubles, two triples, and four RBIs. In 2024, he is batting overall, .255, with 25 runs scored, nine doubles, seven triples, two home runs, 21 RBIs and is 10 for 11 in stolen bases.

Florida State League (Class A)

Jordan Viars, RF – Phillies

Viars was a 3rd Round draft pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in 2021, and as he works on a second full season in Low A ball, he is on track to surpass his 2023 numbers. In 34 games, he is batting .274, with 22 runs scored, nine doubles, seven home runs and 25 RBIs. Over hsi last seven days, he has hit safely in six of the seven, and has three multi-hit games in that span. Of the those three games, he had a 4-hit game on May 30th where he hit three home runs, and a 3-hit game on June 2nd, where he hit a solo shot. He is batting .478 (11 for 23), with six runs scored, two doubles, four home runs, and 12 RBIs through his last seven days.

California League (Class A)

Glenallen Hill Jr., RF – Rockies

Hill is the son of 13-year MLB vet Glenallen Hill. The younger Hill was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the 4th Round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was out of baseball in 2023, after being released by the D-Backs on June 15, 2022. Then after playing for two seasons of Indy ball, he returned to affiliated ball on March 19, 2024, when the Rockies signed Junior to a minor league contract. Over the last seven days, he is batting .392 (11 for 28), with 11 runs scored, two doubles, four home runs, and eight RBIs.
